Good Morning Peeps!
This Sunday morning is gearing up to be a hot one here in Nashville. I do believe that Summer is officially knocking at our door! Still I will take the Sunny hot day over Winter any day of the week and twice on Sunday! My coffee is still tastinfg perfectly good and the inspirations of Life outside my window is still as active and colorful as if it were 70 degrees outside.
This weekend has been a full one for me! Lot's of wonderful & awesome opportunities for my Music Log happened...... along with getting to hang with family and friends.
Friday Night I went to the Grand Opening of the Tennessee Songwriters Association(TSAI) Rcord Store in the Art Is In The Market store at the Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin. It was an exciting new venture to have local songwriters cd's and books to be displayed along with lot's of amazing Artwork. Definitely brings a lot of light and color to the Diversity of Art. I was so thrilled to be one of many talented Singer Songwriters to have a cd on display to buy and also imputed into the listening machine for visitors to randomly listen too. Plus the songs are shuffled to play on the overhead. How awesome is that? The out pour of support for this special night was great! Then I ran into so many of my music Peeps there....which is always a treat. So....yes... I am definitely marking this as one of my memorable moments for the Music Log.
Then later this weekend I found myself having family time and hanging out with my Peeps....and of course taking care of a little bit of my self honey do list! Laughing to myself....very little! That's ok...every second of my weekend has been well spent and engraved as Stories that add to the Adventures of my Life!
I am feeling very blessed and grateful for each moment in my Life, for each person who crosses my path, and for the Musio that seems to have been the core and heart of every Adventure and opportunity that has brought me here to today! Most importantly for God bringing the music, love, peace, and serenity into core of my own being! Allowing the music and everything that surrounds it to flow and lead me to where I need to be. I always hope to be a positive influence and give back as much as....if not more than what has been given to me.
One last thing, tomorrow night I will be performing at the Commodore Grill for Debi Champions Writers Night with Kat'Lee Jones, and Bo Brendle. We hit the stage at 7:30pm....would love to see you there. Also....If anyone would like to donate any cases of Bottled Water for the Oasis Center Bottled Water Drive....bring a case tonight and I will even unload from your car and into mine! Right now we are at 55 cases and we two weeks left to make the big goal of 100 or more. I am feeling very optimistic we will meet the goal....still I need help from all of you to get there.
