Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in Nashville the wind is blowing and the temps are colder. Still it is Thursday and as I like to say, it is Friday Eve. It is to my understanding that this weekend is going to be sunny and beautiful. Ying and Yang....2 days of colder weather to come and following 2 days of great weather.Either way at this very moment my coffee is hot and my perception is bright inside my mind, heart, and soul. All in all.....a great way to kick start this early Thursday morning.
There is one thing for sure....this cold snap has not effected the singing birds. Nope....there is a choir of chirping and singing outside my Haven's window. Does this add to my peaceful morning? Yes....of course! Plus, again I am reminded that these little winged creatures of God have no choice but to live in these weather challenging moments. So....if they can still sing thier little hearts out.....surely I can find my own personal song of silver Linings to make my heart sing like the sun is bright and the temps are warm.....even though I know that it is very cold. See....the cold isn't the star of the day....it isn't the moment that sets the pace for what is to come.....nope....we are the ones who set the pace, set the stage, and we are the ones in control of how we percieve and respond. No one person, one bad experience, or challenging weathered day has the power.....we own our own power. The key is to use it in a positive way. This is where our Silver Linings come in handy.
Peeps....no matter what the day brings....dig deep and find one positive thing, moment, experience, or even that one special person that shines a positive light of encouragement in your Life. Take this positive thought and carry it forward through the day in your heart, soul, and mind. Add on as needed. Practice makes perfect or fake it till you make it.....either way....something wonderful will happen.....you will smile because there will be a constant reminder of why we do what we do everyday and in the end it is a Beacon of Hope and a light that will shine on our darkest days.
Have an awesome Thursday and I will catch you on the flipside!
