Good Morning Peeps!
Here in the Music City it is a frosty one and the temp is a chiller 19 degrees. This is one of those days I am glad to have the day off. Still as I stepped outside the back door to my Haven...I looked to the right as the Sun was shining so bright ...thinking to myself....somehow the bright glare of rays shining down from the sun...makes the coldness of the morning not so bad!
Here I am now with my coffee recapping yesterdays morning thoughts. It was all about finding a balance and ultimately finding a happy medium that makes you feel good at the end of the day. Well.....I ended up finding that my creative self wanted to play. So...that is what I did.....I followed what my heart and soul needed. I picked up my guitar and started playing around with music I had come up with the other night. I then took an inspirational idea that was given to me and began to write my first song of 2016. Five hours later I had my new song "Living On Borrowed Time" written and four more hours later I had a scratch track recording. Apparently this song wanted to be written and I was glad to oblige. It was one of those songs where the music came to me easy, the Verses took a minute. to come....but the chorus came to me right away. I hope to have it on my website soon along with my other scratch tracks....but you can hear it on Soundcloud or Fandalism.
Ok....yesterday I created and it so happens that today I had a sceduled appointment that canceled and so now I get to work on my Self Honey Do list. There you go....see we can't control events or foresee what is to come....but in this case....I let down my need to control my time and well....it all worked out just fine! I have more time added to my personal clock. My own Silver Lining shining it's own bright light on this day!
