Good Morning Peeps!
Here in Nashville this early a.m the the temp is cold but the skyline looks clear, peaceful and calm. There is still plenty of snow left on ground even though some of it has melted. The great news is I was able to leave my Haven late yesterday afternoon. The roads are totally doable with some challenges on the back streets.
Since Friday I have been pretty much hibernating in my Haven and staying safe. So I took advantage of this time to work on several different projects. It felt great to just focus on each one with out the deadline of having to leave. It is so funny how time seemed to have a life of it's own when you are snow bound and can't go anywhere. No stress, no pressures, and complete freedom to do things at your own pace. Honestly, I enjoyed every second! Granted I try to implement this concept in my life daily....still this was different. In reality...we have life's responsibilities that have to be dealt with daily and there is no escaping it, but there is such a thing as balancing out your time for moments of Freedom needed for the happiness of the soul, peace of mind that helps to confirm the reason's why we actually do all the things we do.
So....now I sit here sipping on my perfect cup of coffee thinking about my activities that are coming up this week. Tonight I will be performing in a writers round at 404 Bar and Grill with Brittany Mason and tomorrow night at the Hotel Preston I will be also sharing the stage with two awesome ladies.... Opal Justice and Brittany Mason...and on Thursday I will beperforming in a round at Bobby's Idle Hour. This week is going to be a busy one. Thanks to the last few days....I feel refreshed and ready to go. Guess I should be thanking God and mother Nature for the break.
Peeps have an awesome Monday, remember to always find time to take a moment to yourself. A moment to stop, be still, and breath and then do something that you enjoy!
