Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in Nashville it is cooler but sunny for the moment. I think we have rain coming our way, but the great thing is it isn't here right now.
I say let the sun shine!
I'm sitting here drinking my warm and tasty Hazelnut coffee enjoying the rays coming through my window! Today I have the day off from the gym and so I am just taking it easy for the moment! Here in a few I will be heading out to pick up my girl and the weekend will officially begin for me.
I was thinking about the last few days and recapping my events. This week I performed at two events, went to two social events and met my goals for hours working out out at the gym. Plus still maintained my job. It has been a full but awesome week and I wouldn't change any of it for the world! Well...maybe one thing....making each moment last even longer. Still....each moment wouldn't be as special if it lasted longer than it was supposed too. That's what makes them unique and memorable.
I also made a new poster inspired by Diversity in today's world and how no matter our differences....we can live as one! I was thinking about society is being split by politics and people who are afraid of change. I was listening to Jen Fosters double cd with one of her songs "not so different"...which I love by the way! There is a line I really like from her song....well actually several lines from hou break it downer song I love....still this one popped out...."our stories all end the same". I was thinking....man this is so true...when you break it down and take away the shell that separates us in society....we are all not so different. Really it is that simple....still people like to complicate things by grouping everyone by race, genre, sexuality, religion and so on and so fourth. I see all of us a beautiful collage of unique individuals that add to the bigger picture of how Great God is!
My thought and Silver lining for today is gratitude and for being blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful souls that help to create a beautiful scene in the heart of my Journey.
