Good Morning Peeps!
This early Saturday morning here in the Music City it is a cold and misty one! I even had to turn the heat back on...it's crazy...because I have had to run the a/c just 3 days ago. I suppose it goes with the transitioning of seasons. So...I am enjoying my perfectly brewed cup of hazelnut coffee while thinking about what I want to write this morning.
First of all I hit the gym at 3:45am this morning and had my 45 minute workout. First it was 20 minutes on the bike and then 25 minutes working out my upper body on 6 machines. It felt great. Especially since I missed yesterday....apparently my my body wanted to rest yesterday morning and so that's what it did! I over slept my alarms and woke up about the time I should be leaving the gym. I was a little dissappointed but I am trying to pay attention to what my body needs! Sleep was what was on the agenda and so I didn't give myself a hard time. I just picked up this morning where I left off! Another rockin' successful mission of working out. OO-RAH!!!!
Then this morning I caught a picture of the newest visitor to my bird sanctuary. I have named him Rocky the Racoon! He has been showing up othe past 4 days eating the seed the birds dropped on the ground! I stepped outside my door a couple of times to catch a glimpse of this masked bandit and he so politely walked towards me slowly with no aggresion but with the intent to get me to go inside where I should be ....so he could eat in peace. I of course didn't challenge Rocky the Racoon, because I really didn't want to test his personality. LOL! I love my bird sanctuary and realize that there are other creatures who live behind the fence that will love it as well. So...I need to find friendly ways of steering them away or just find a peaceful understanding that they are hungry and the left overs from the birds won't go to waste.
Yesterday morning I decided to work on learning a Melissa Etheridge song "No Souveniers" . This song was suggested for me to learn to add to cover songs for me to play! This song is probably one of my favorite Melissa Etheridge songs....so I am excited about playing around with it!
My thoughts are a bit random this morning, but it is what it is....I am wrapping up my morning thoughts before I head into work....yes it is my Saturday! Now I am wondering what is my Silver Lining for today!!!
Well....first of all....I love that I have heat this cold morning, I love that I woke up this morning,
I am blessed to have a chance to enjoy a very serene and peaceful morning, and most importantly that in all the craziness of the world...I find that there are more blessings of life surrounding me everywhere I go......the key is to keep my eyes open to see, and my heart full of love to recieve!
