Good Morning Peeps!
The birds are singing their beautiful song this early Saturday morning here in Nashville. I have one of my windows slightly open to let in the fresh air and also to be able to hear the sweet sounds of another wonderful day waiting to happen. My cup of Hazelnut coffee is tasting perfect as usual.
Today I have a break from the gym to let my body rest and adjust to all the early morning workouts that I have consistently been doing daily. Apparently every fourth day my body says it's done and wants a break. Who am I to argue? My body has been the one waking me everyday to go . It seems to know what it wants! It just took a while for my mind to catch up and get on the same page! It's been working ....so I figure if it works.... run with it!
It took me a long time to learn how to pay attention to all the different sides of me that require or need certain things to bring a balance to my happiness! Including the child in me, the adult in me, the creative artist, the dreamer, the realist, the shy part , the spiritual side, and the compassionate side! Just a few of many characteristics of me that I have gotten to know over time. I learned that sometimes I have to let go of what my mind wants or thinks and learn to listen to the other parts that are screaming out for attention. The hardest part is releasing control and allowing each part that creates who I am an opportunity to breathe and come out to play.
Every morning when I wake....... I take the time to listen and pay attention to my needs! After all....when I am happy with myself.....the rest of Life seems to fall right into place! Which in turn allows me to live Life to the fullest!
Here's the thing...when we are happy with ourselves it can have a positive effect on others who may cross our paths! There is an undeniable light and glow that can have a cause and effect in the most positive way effortlessly without realizing that it is even happening!
