Good Morning Peeps!
It is a cool Monday morning here in Nashville but all is calm and feeling peaceful. I woke up bright and early and headed out about 4:00 a.m. to the gym but as I was driving something didn't seem right! The roads were awfully dark. Still I kept going and pulled up to the light that was not working....in fact the whole area was pitch dark....yes.... including Planet Fitness! Now...I thought bummer...I was excited and ready to go....oh well....guess it was not meant to happen this morning! So....I headed back home. I pulled back into my well lit apt. area thinking to myself...I am so glad we still have power this morning. What a blessing! Right away I found my Silver Lining to cancel out the disappointment. Immediately I felt better.
Sometimes it's not that easy to change emotions with one Silver Lining....in fact it may at times take several little Silver linings before it kicks in. Been there and done that many times! I found the key is to keep trying to find that positive perspective to counter the negative until the right one kicks in or they all slowly break down whatever it is holding me down. Eventually over time I find my positive light....not without having a lot of faith and trust that God is watching over me. Put it all together and you have the best kept secret to uplifting your your spirit. I call them Silver Linings!
Yesterday I decided to have a little fun and recorded a video Live From My Haven. It was a Sunday Fun Day and I decided to play a "Proud Mary" cover and then had a wacky idea to add on a version of it with my cowbell....lol....like I said it was for the fun of it! It made me laugh! I'm such a goof! Hopefully whoever sees this version of mine will have a little laugh and smile as well.
Peeps...Life is a roller coaster full of ups and downs.....unfortunately it is a ride that never stops until we are at the final stop! Still....on the other hand it could be fortunate....because there are so many exciting and memorable moments full of Adventures with each twist and turns. Since we are already going for the ride....might as well take it all in and remember the best part of the ride is simply living and enjoying Life and all it's blessing to the fullest!
