Good Morning Peeps

Good Morning Peeps!

It's another peaceful morning with a bit of overcast here in The Music City!

Yesterday after I hit the gym and worked on Good Morning Peeps.... I stepped out of my Haven on a mission to come up with a plan to resolve my Racoon Issue! I went to three place until I found two Shepard's Rods that were taller than the double rod I already have currently. Then I placed each one on the opposite side of the double rod. What's great is that these two rods are thinner and iron cast smooth...which should give Mr. Rocky the Racoon a challenge when he or she attempts to get the bird seed.

Now....I was talking with William at Home Depot on Old Hickory Blvd.,... he made a couple suggestions. One that stuck out to me was Peanut Butter and Hot Sauce! So....I whipped up a batch of spicy hot peanut butter and put it on the poles where Rocky would start to climb. This morning I checked out the bird feeders and the same amount of bird seed was still there in both of them and a lot of the Peanut butter was gone. I'm thinking either Mr. Rocky liked the batch or he finally gave up because it was to much of a hot mess. I will keep trying this method to see if it is really making a difference.

Speaking of my Bird Sanctuary....more flowers have been added and I boiled my first batch of sugar water for the Hummingbird feeders and they are now hanging on the double rod. Yes...my little Bird Sanctuary is starting to come to life again.

Yesterday, I talked about being spontaneous and finding myself doing things I hadn't planned. Yes...I did find myself last night going out to support my Music Peeps Opal Justice and Mike Kuhl performing for a Colon Cancer Benefit at Wilhagans to help raise money for Wendy Graves as she battles this cancer. Next thing you know I am performing a few of my songs and getting to jam with a music Peep Frank who I had just met. Which is awesome....because I love being able to help make a difference with my songs. Thanks to Mike Kuhl who put this event together. Seems this year I have now been a part of four fund raisers and I am totally excited about the opportunity to use my songs which are gifts from God to help others in need! What a blessing!

Towards the end of my night before my head hit the pillow.....I thought to myself. It is so great to be surrounded by so Music Peeps with so much talent and truly have a genuine heart with their music and in their everyday living. That alone in the scheme of so many blessings I have is one that I treasure greatly....... because it also inspires and motivates me to be just as humble and giving with my music and as a person.

We can all learn so much from each other and can cause an infectious.... powerful....positive and motivating trend that others will naturally grab onto because they will see and feel the ripple effect it makes on others or on themselves. Together we all can be a Light Of Hope with every Silver Lining we find inside of our selves and continue to share it forward.

Peeps have an awesome Sunday and I will catch you on the flipside!
