Good Morning Peeps!
The wheel of Life continues to spin this morning as I dropped my girl off at the airport and I counted my blessings while driving off into the darkness of the morning.
have to say that it is a blessing to have someone so special in my Life!
Now this past Friday I had a surprise knock on my door at 11:00pm. I had just finished cleaning as I usually do before I have to pick my girl up at the Mega bus stop the following morning. I wondered who in the world is knocking on my door so late. To my shocking surprise it was my girl standing outside the door. So...after several minutes of being totally excited and in shock that she was actually here....the best weekend had already begun lasting until the wee hours of this morning when we were walking out the very same door where she surprised me with her arrival. Time flies by so fast, especially when moments you get caught up in are one of the best moments you wish time would just stand still. Ironically these are the very same moments that will forever burn a memory into my mind and add such sweetness to the Adventures and Journey of my Life!
Now....even though I am missing my girl I am still blessed with the fact that I live in the Music City where my blessings continue and I get to head out tonight to perform my music with my Music Peeps. I will be hitting the stage at the Preston Hotel at 7pm for Mathew Snares Writers Showcase.....performing with JR Boyette, and John & Beth Kennedy. Thinking to myself..... I am so glad to have Love & Music in my Life. All the things that help to balance out me out. Along with my family, my job, my Music Peeps and most importantly my Faith.
I know that with out the vision, the fabrics and design of Gods plan...I would never be where I am today! I know from the depths of my soul....that whatever the reason or plan, God has led me down every path and road that eventually led me to right here and right now. What does the future hold....who knows! Honestly I can't wait to see. Until then I will continue to count my blessings and keep moving forward and following the path that's before me and walk through the doors of opportunity whenever they present themselves.
Peeps remember that the moment we rise and wipe the sleep from our eyes...the Journey and continuation of our Story begins right here and right now!
