Good Morning Peeps!
Here in the Music City this mornings temp feels great and my coffee is tasting even better than ever. Especially after I had my workout at the gym. I don't know what it is that makes it taste better than normal....but it does! No complaints here....plus I have the windows open and the sounds of the birds gathering around the bird sanctuary is so peaceful and serene. In this moment I feel extremely blessed to be able to....one wake up this morning and two having the privilege of experiencing Nature at work outside my window!
Last night was another awesome Musical Adventure for my music log! I performed at the Hotel Preston for Mathew Snares Writers Showcase that was hosted by the talented Mark Lane. I had the privilege of sharing the stage with JR Boyette, John J Kennedy, Cindy Ham, Dana Boyette, and Beth Compton Wallace. Which was a treat to have everyone joining in with me as I performed my songs! In turn I was able to jump in and help support them as well. Good times! Afterwards I stuck around to support my awesome music Peeps (Opal justice, Mark Lane, and Jason Kabler) perform their songs. Real quick shout out to a couple of my Peeps for showing up to support us all. Sandy Moyer and Rudy! You guys rock! Last night was another reminder of why I love playing my songs! Good Times!
Now today being the first day of June officially kicks of the Bottled Water Drive for the Oasis Center. A non profit organization that helps the homeless youth by helping them get off the street and gives a helping hand with a touch of light and hope for their future. My Work is having Carmax Cares Month and my dept is hosting the Drive. My wish is to raise 100 cases of bottled water or more by June 27th. If you want to donate message me via facebook or email me at tonyanogamusic@yahoo.com. plus i am performing at several places this month and if you want to bring the cases by the venue....that would great as well. Let's try to make a difference together.
Now as the clock keeps turning I realize that it's time for me to wrap up my morning thoughts! First thing I'm thinking of right now is what is my Silver Lining for today! Well...that's quite simple I think! It's in every moment of my Life where I am Living and breathing. Living the best way i can.....doing what I love....meaning playing and writing music, and having opportunities to get involved with the community and shining a positive light on helping to make a difference Everyday!
Peeps have an awesome Wednesday and I will catch you on the flipside!
