Good Morning Peeps
After a night of rain here in Nashville the air is feeling a bit muggy but still the temp feels great. I know that my plants outside are loving it! It sure didn't dampen the birds spirit of gathering around the sanctuary. Especially this one Woodpecker that I hear chipping away at something outside my window! All i can say is that I love the mornings!
Right at this very moment I am drinking my coffee and thinking about what is to come today. Besides work....I will be performing at the Whisky Rhythm Saloon for Brittany Mason's awesome Writer's Showcase tonight at 7pm. I can't wait. Funny thing is that I was reporting to BMI my Live performances when I realized that the Month of May was a busy month of performances. I didn't realize how many places I played. Which is a beautiful thing and a blessing to be able to be a part of each event.
Music is and has always been a passion of mine on all different kinds of levels since I was a kid. Looking back ....If I were to tell my younger self that I would eventually get to write and perform my own songs and make an EP.... I don't think my younger self would believe it! Still if I could make her believe...I wonder how different my path would be today. Flipping the coin on that thought....if one thing was changed, everything I have experienced and all the people I know now today, may not exist. So...thinking about that....I don't think I would change a thing! Sometimes the things we experience through our lives make us who we are today. Honestly I love where I am today in my life and the Journey. So...I guess I wouldn't change one thing. Although I would tell myself to not be afraid to follow your Dreams!
