Good Morning Peeps!
The sun has risen and another new Monday has just begun. Well....actually it officially began for me at 4:10am. First stop right out of bed was hitting Planet Fitness to work out. The focus today was on abs, cardio, and lower body. I had a awesome 45 minute workout! Now I feel revived, recharged and ready to go. Especially since I just had my first cup of Hazelnut coffee....just for the record...is so good!
Last night I stepped out to see a couple of my Music Peeps perform in a Round at Debi Champion's Writer's Night at the Commodore Grille. It was one of those evenings where it was nice to be watching and supporting as opposed to performing myself. I found myself listening to a lot talented songwriters perform their original music. Which was refreshing. Plus I ran into this incredibly talented young songwriter and performer....Dominic Francesco D'Andrea who was in from Ohio to perform the Nashville circuit and this was his last night! How lucky was I to catch him before he left. Plus I loved talking with him and his Mom about Music and several other Life topics. It's funny and yet exciting to me how sometimes the right people cross your path at the right time and at the right place. Not to mention saying things that seem to be right on time. I call those moments.... Blessings!
So....later I headed home running through my mind the events of the evening and feeling like this musical date with myself to just listen to others actually helped to lift my own spirit and shined a light of inspiration on why I do what I do!
Peeps...I can't say that I have the perfect recipe for finding Silver Linings that will help to inspire and encourage each new day....but I can say this....it's not rocket science. Every Silver Lining and positive motivating seed that helps each of us get through the day is in everything that surrounds us, even on the darkest days...it's a matter of stopping and looking with open arms and an open heart. Taking in each Silver Lining with humility and complete optimism. Really it isn't in the major big things in life....but sometimes it's in the little things that keep us grounded and inspires us to Keep Living Everyday the best we we can.
Have an awesome Monday Peeps and I will catch you on the flipside!
