Good Morning Peeps!
It is a beautiful morning here in the Music City and I was up bright and early before the sun came up to catch the cool breeze that was serenading the start of a new day!
When I woke up this morning I found myself thinking about how I fell asleep on the couch last night and actually slept through the night for the first time in several days! It felt great! So I got up and made a pot of coffee and then walked to the tennis court as I have been doing daily to keep the blood flowing....which is needed after spending so much time being still. Then I came back in remembering the date for today which has been something that seems to pass me by as of late because all the hours of a day seem to blend together as one! Today is the last day of the Oasis Center Bottled Water Drive that we started at my work at the beginning of June for Carmax Cares Month. I know that Saturday we were looking at 150 cases raised and now I am still hoping that by the end of the day we can reach 200. I completely believe that it is possible! We only need 50 cases more. So....I am going to do my best to reach out from my Haven to all my Peeps. So if your in the area and you want to contribute, message me on Facebook and I will give you the address to my work where you can drop off the cases of Bottled Water. No matter the final number at the end of the day....I want to thank everyone who has contributed to help make a difference to the organization that helps so many youth. I am completely moved by how quick everyone was willing to jump in and help! Peeps....it's a beautiful thing!
Now.....here I am drinking my morning coffee and finally getting to hear the birds as they have been flying in and out of the Bird Sanctuary during this whole time that I have been typing my morning thoughts! I am feeling a bit hazy from my pain meds, but still feeling a powerful light of encouragement and inspiration to do something creative, and positive for today! So....my Silver Lining this morning is in the very heart of me and in every possibility that has yet to happen, but can at any given point of the day!
