Good Morning Peeps!
This morning outside my Haven here in Nashville it is quite humid and warm, still the birds are singing and my coffee is warm and delicious. Today is definitely going to be a good day!
Yesterday was my first day back at work since my surgery over a month and a half ago. I was excited to be returning, but by the end of the day I realized it was a lot harder than I thought it would be...still it was only the first day. I was able to get a feel of my limitations and were I was and how much I can handle. Hopefully today will be easier for I now know what to expect. Certainly as the days pass, this to will pass and things will be back to normal. Well...as normal as they can be! One day at a time!
I am excited that this week I will be performing at the Whiskey Rhythm Saloon on 8/4 at 8:30pm with my awesome Peeps! I can't wait! Seems like it has been eons since I last performed! All I know is that I am going to enjoy every second!
Peeps, my thought and Silver Lining for today is this.....Life isn't easy....at time's it can be quite challenging to say the least. The great thing is that we have the option to get up and get there and give it our best!
That's what my focus will be. Giving my best! Knowing that it's Ok if it doesn't meet others expectations! Ultimately at the end of the day.....the one thing that matters is how we fill inside and that at the end of the day I can sleep at night knowing that I did my best!
