Good Morning Peeps!
This early Saturday morning is an absolutely beautiful and fresh 70 degrees here in Nashville. I love this perfect temp. My windows are open and my Hazelnut coffee is toasty warm adding color and calmness to the start of my day!
Last night was a very cool night. I spent an hour or so with my Peeps using Facebook Live to share a little one on one time with each of them. We talked and I shared some of my music and little bit about me. What a treat and a blessing to have spent time with each of you who joined me. This was my first time to arrange a time spot for this intimate moment of opening myself up for questions and just sharing who I am in real time....so I was a bit nervous and probably could have been more prepared. Still...there is something to be said about keeping it real and letting the moment take over....besides what they saw on the screen was not scripted but free flowing genuineness of me with my guitar, with my hot tea, and my nervousness of speaking. Laughing to myself....... I am a much better writer than speaker. Still i totally enjoyed that time spent with my Peeps! After all....they are the reason why I do what I do with my music.
This morning my gratitude and Silver Lining is wrapped up in the fact I have so many Peeps who support me as a person with my music and with my daily Good Morning Peeps! Quite honestly I never knew that people would actually read my morning blog...so you might say it blew my mind as I started to receive feed back from so many Peeps in regards to my blog. Still to this day it blows my mind in the most wonderful way that my life,story or feelings impact others daily. Which makes me feel even more driven to keep writing my positive affirmations, silver linings, and sharing my Dream of music.
Everyone needs a little spark to get the fire going, but it's the embers that keep it burning. Each of my Peeps are exactly that....along with the fact that my Faith in God and trust that every path that I walk, every person I meet, every opportunity that opens, and every blessing I receive is all part of a bigger plan. Oh...so much bigger than I can perceive and even begin to understand. Still...I count my blessings and keep moving forward till I am where I'm supposed to be.
Peeps today will be another awesome music filled day as I head to the Nolensville Farmers Market to perform with two very awesome ladies. Brittany Mason and Opal Justice at 10am till 12pm. Then afterwards I will head to Hermitage for Hit Song Casa's Open Mic at Mozzarella's Pizzeria which starts at1pm - 4pm. Today is going to be a great day full of un planned Adventures and stories waiting to be told.

Don't Forget that Wednesday September 7th I will be competing in the Nashville Rising Star Songwriter competition. It starts at 8pm central time and goes till the last of 21 songwriters perform their song and you can watch the live stream, Immediately the voting lines open up online for exactly 15 minutes. This is where I will need my Peeps support in getting "Hitch A Ride" into the next competition.
