Good Morning Peeps!
Here in Nashville the temp is a perfect 70 degrees with a cooling breeze to make for a unbelievably relaxing, calming, and gorgeous morning.
Well...you can bet I opened my windows right away to let the fresh air flow through my Haven.
While sitting at the computer thinking about what I want to write about....I hear and see the birds making their feeding rounds at the Bird Sanctuary. So...I found myself grabbing my cup of fresh brewed Hazelnut coffee and kicking back in my chair to take in this calm moment. Seems Sir Todd and Stretch agree with me as I look to my side and see that they both are totally sprawled out and sleeping. Yep...here in my Noga Haven all is good!
Yesterday I had a day full of music as I kicked off the day at the Nolensville Farmers Market with Brittany Mason and Opal Justice as we shared music with all the visitors from 10am-12pm. Honestly...it felt great to begin the day with music and spending time with my friends.Yes...an awesome kick start to my day...well along with my Morning Peeps and coffee....of course.
Then afterwards I headed out to Mozzarella Pizzeria to perform more music and spend time with more of my Music Peeps! What an awesome time to be had by all and I had the privilege of meeting some new Peeps originally from South Africa but are from New York and Canada who performed there as well. I was really excited because two of my awesome Peeps from Australia were there...Graham( aka Grazy) and Amy Brennan had just made they way back to the States the day before.
Well...because of them arriving...I decided early that morning to take my project guitar that I was working on while home from the hospital and have all of my Music Peeps sign it. Besides...I was going to see a few of them this weekend! So...what better time than the present to begin! My goal is to fill the guitar up with signatures from all of my Music Peeps and then hang it on the wall. Simply to remind me of how blessed I am to have each of these awesome Peeps in my life as we all travel down the musical path of songwriting.
Each of our Journey's and Adventures are different, but we all are connected by the love of music and the amazing support that out pours out in the Music community. Believe you me...there are many talented songwriters and musicians who I have crossed paths with and each of them has added so much to my musical growth. I hope I can fit everyone on the guitar! Laughing to myself. Still...there are my core people who have had a major impact on me who I definitely want to make sure they are on my guitar.
We all have our own way of showing our appreciation for those who impact our lives daily or even all through our lives. How each of them showed their support and were very giving, full of encouragement and simply believing in you and your Dreams.
In fact we also have our own way of remembering. The important thing is that we never forget why we are who we are, who helped us along the way, and the time that was given unselfishly to help us grow as a person and the actions taken that helped to get us to were we are today in each of our own personal lives, goals, or Dreams.
These are my Silver Linings for today and also another dose of motivation to add to my Cup Of Life.
Peeps have an awesome Sunday and I will catch you on the Flipside!
