Good Morning Peeps

Good Morning Peeps!

This morning here in the Music city...the temp is slowly warming up but the wind is making the air feel so relaxing and calming outside my Haven. It is a beautiful Saturday morning. I am totally enjoying my coffee and catching up on pics that I have wanted to share but haven't had a chance to up till now.

This morning I noticed something as I was looking out my window. Lately I haven't seen the birds that usually flock around the Bird Sanctuary..in fact what I have seen are several Humming birds and lot's of yellow and orange Butterfly's. Which has been a treat to watch and take in over the past few days! Well and one squirrel that has decided that if the birds aren't eating then he should take up the responsibility to make sure the food doesn't go to waste. It's a tough job...suppose he's the Squirrel to do it! Laughing to myself!

This morning I worked on a making a collage with my Tribute Signature Dare To Dream Guitar. I found this guitar at the dumpster near my apts and decided to rescue it and bring it to my Haven. It sat for a long time on the guitar stand. Honestly..... I didn't know what to do with it. Then I went into the Hospital for surgery and came home to heal. Which limited me to doing a lot of things. Then one day as I was pondering on my thoughts... I looked at that guitar and decided to turn it into a project guitar.. I came up with the idea to create art on the neck and body of the guitar by using my motivational sayings that have pretty much been the theme of my Journey. Automatically my thoughts went to so many faces of my Music Peeps who have been there with me all through my Musical Journey. It was a no brainier at that point... this guitar would be filled with the names of all the people who have been traveling down this path with me and have been so supportive and encouraging. In fact it's a fact I can't deny and never want to forget. Everything I have accomplished with my music and the memories made were because of each of them playing a part in my growth and impacting me on so many different levels as my music was growing and I was growing as a person. Basically....this idea was inspired by my Peeps!

Last weekend I began collecting signatures everywhere I play, because I knew that most likely I would run into one of my Music Peeps. She is filling up fast with names. Which is a beautiful thing and a blessing!

There is still some art work I want to add, but it needs to wait till after I am finished collecting names.

This is my thought this morning...well that and knowing my girl will be here in a few hours and later this evening I will be performing at the Pavilion Coffee House in Madison with Opal Justice and Jason Kabler (2021 Gallatin Pike #160 Madison, Tn 37115) at 7pm Sept.10th. Don't forget if you can make it...there is no charge...but they are collecting donations for a Mission Trip. Mostly I am excited to be sharing the stage with two awesome songwriters and it is going to Rock! Come by if your in the area.

Peeps have an awesome Saturday and I will catch you on the flipside!

Oh and don't forget to remember the ones who have been a major part of your Journey and count your blessings.
