Good Morning Peeps!
This mornings view was back in my little wonderful Haven looking out my window at the colors of fall starting to come to life. This past week I have enjoyed waking up with a tasty cup of Puerto Rican coffee along with the most beautiful view of the ocean and green from the Rain Forest as the sun would rise from our balcony.
There were so many beautiful places we went to around that side of Puerto Rico. Including spending the day at Flamenco Beach on the Island of Culebra. This trip Lucy and I took the Jeep cart all over the island and checked out the beauty and serenity of natures wonders that seemed to bring the energy of this island to life. We also went to Old San Juan to the old fort called El Morro. There we took in the the history of this area and was graced by the Blue Angels air show was happening at the same time.
We ate all types of different exotic island foods every day and enjoyed some of their island juices and drinks.
Honestly there is so much more we did and lot's of fine details to really brighten the picture or view....but to appreciate it....you just have to be there to see it for yourself. I loved every second and can't wait to go there again.
Now that I am back with my feet planted in the Music City...I am getting myself ready for the Nashville Rising Star Competition that happens tomorrow night. October 12th is the last preliminary competition that will take the winners to the semi-finals. I will give it my very best. I made a few slight changes to Hitch A Ride....only on the melody in a couple of places...so let's see if this will help to push the song over the edge. Personally...I felt the lift that was created by changing a couple of melodies. Guess I will find out tomorrow night what the judges think of the upgrade. I like it and I think all of you will as well.
Remember I need your help with the votes. This is where we all need to make it count. Peeps bring as many of your Peeps together and lets build the voting team for tomorrow night. I am feeling really good about this competition and I think this time we will make it happen.
Also...I will be performing at the Franklin Farmers Market ( 230 Franklin Road Franklin, Tn 37064) from 9-12pm with my friends Mason Justice....who absolutely rock. If your in the area...come by and hang with us and listen to some awesome rockin music. See you there!!!
