Good Morning Peeps!
This early Wednesday morning is cool with a hint of calmness in the air. At least from were I can see from my desk , looking outside my open window! I love having a direct window view over looking the bird sanctuary and once all the leafs fall from the trees...time will fall back and I will once again get to see the early sunrise as I am typing my morning thoughts. It's the little things I tell you that please me the most!
This is probably one of those mornings where there is nothing that pops out as a focal point for my thoughts. Yeah...pretty much my thoughts will be random and still and calm like waters on a small pond! Which really isn't a bad thing...sometimes it's good to be calm and quiet in the mind, heart and soul. It makes for an even deeper meditation on Life and what's happening at the very moment.
Example.... I'm sitting here with my window open and there are different sounds faded into the back ground of what seems to be still and quiet right where I'm sitting. It's the the interstate many miles from my Haven.... at least 10 to12 miles away, cars on one of the main roads 5 to 7 miles away. Both sound like waves crashing to the shore. In the sky I just heard a helicopter flying around but the sound is so faint that it sounds like white noise from a rotating fan. Still not a soul moving around in my complex. All is calm and quiet. Now that the mornings are cooler...I don't even hear the birds singing. I find each of these sounds quite soothing and peaceful.
The way I see it is we have the choice to find our serenity in the surroundings where we live....the question is how open are we in receiving them? In my opinion the more open we are....the more in tune we become with our surroundings! That my Peeps opens many other doors and opportunities for finding our Silver Linings that will help to kick start the day! Ultimately...it begins with us in the here and in the now!
