Good Morning Peeps

Good Morning Peeps!

This morning here in Nashville before the sun started to rise the temp was 46 degrees cold!

Omg....I was so glad that I brought my plants inside the night before last!

Well... I am of course enjoying my tasty morning coffee this early Saturday morning while pondering the thoughts in my head. Funny thing is i have been up since 4:30am but it isn't till now that I began writing my thoughts. It kind of defeats me randomly writing off the top of my head while everything is fresh, but I had so many thoughts whipping through my brain, guess I needed time to sit back and reflect on them.

First thought was.....what is on the agenda today? While thinking about it I realized there was a lot to do, places to go, and people to see. The question is what will I do with the time I have today and what moves me the most? After catching up on posts from my Peeps and invites to events.... I first noticed that there is a music event at Mozzarella Pizzeria where I can play some music and then noticed that at the church where I have had so many fond and impacting memories..... they were having a homecoming event this evening. Now...I also have several things on my self honey do list that need to be done as well.

So..... I of course took the time to weigh out my wants over my needs. Which took a little while.

Well....I stopped thinking for a minute and went outside to see the sunrise and noticed the beautiful colors that filled the sky and realized it wasn't the sunrise itself that was so colorful....it was the mix of Fall colors on the trees popping all around because of the bright light of the sun making it's grand appearance. The vision was so amazing and breath taking. This was very inspirational to me as I thought about how it isn't always the sun that is so colorful when it rises....but it's the colors we see in life that is surrounding us daily. Reminds me of the people in my life...the experiences I had, and the impact of each sweet memory that helped to make me who I am today!

Having had such a revelation and different look on my plans for the day....I decided I will go and play music, spend time with friends. Practice gratitude for each moment and count my blessings for having each of them in my life.

Earlier I mentioned my home church.... Inglewood United Methodist church....their doors will be closing as of Jan. 1st for good and so I thought it would be nice to spend time with my Peeps there.... they each had a huge impact on my Life as I went through many changes spiritually, mentally, and emotionally....plus they were the first to encourage me with my music when I was going through an inner self changing cycle that was happening in my Life.

So....there you go....sometimes it is important to see the colors of Life from all around that shine a light bright inside your heart and in the memories of your mind. After all....the light doesn't just come from the sun. It starts inside of you!

Peeps have an awesome Saturday and I will catch you on the flipside!
