Good Morning Peeps!

Good Morning Peeps!

This morning here in Nashville and pretty much in all other time zones....it is Fall back Sunday. Which means everyone gets an extra hour of sleep this morning and for me...well...I get to see the Sunrise while typing my Morning Peeps! Which is awesome! In fact I am sitting here at my desk looking out the window at the morning sky as I am enjoying my tasty cup of Hazelnut coffee. What a treat! This is my favorite part of the clocks falling back an hour. No sooner than I typed this a Mocking Blue Jay flew into the bird Sanctuary singing his song, the leaves on the trees and all their fall colors are shimmering in the morning light! Yes...outside my window there is so much peace and serenity which is great for my heart, soul, and mind!

Yesterday afternoon I met up with some other Peeps at Mozzarella Pizzeria and performed a few of my songs. Which is always fun...hey....any opportunity to get out and play is a blessing. I will take it! Plus getting to see and hear my Music Peeps is always a plus!

Then later on I went to to a Home Coming Celebration at a Church I haven't been to in awhile, but consider to be my home Church because the core of where my Spiritual and Musical Journey began was in those four walls. I know that coming up soon that these four walls that brought together so many giving and loving people together for over 93 years will be closing it's doors as of Jan1st 2017.

So....I decided to attend the celebration and will attend the services this morning and sing with the choir once again. God is obviously the root of why I went there in the first place over 7 years ago....but the choir had a huge impact on helping me rebuild my foundation as I was beginning a whole new Journey of self discovery in all areas of my life. Eventually I new that I was being called a different direction and that's when my Musical Journey began taking me down other avenues and while using my music and experiences to share with others along the way. Hoping to make a positive impact. I know that I haven't been at my home church in a while....funny thing is that they are always with me in my heart, mind and in my Faith as I still hold God close to my heart.

Coming up in the next few weeks I will be teaming up with the choir to put together the Christmas program and also I will be helping them with Charlie's Christmas party for the 40 elementary school kids that Inglewood United Methodist will be taking in for the afternoon to share Christmas with them. Speaking of which if you would like to donate or purchase a t-shirt for this even I will share the link. We have only 9 days left to meet the goal of 50 t-shirts sold. Please....if it moves you...let's help them meet their goal.

Peeps have an awesome Sunday and remember that your Silver Linings are everywhere if you stop for one minute and look at what is right in front of you. You will be amazed that it is the little things you see everyday that really mean the most.

Until next time.....I will catch you on the flipside!
