Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in Nashville it is cold and a bit overcast but the brown and orange leaves on the ground seem to give me a warming sense of Fall ....almost as if a fireplace was burning in the back ground while I am having my first cup of coffee kick starting my morning.
Today is going to be a bitter sweet day as I am on one hand grateful for everything and everyone in my life, but will also be gathering with family this morning to say Goodbye to a loved one who has passed on just a couple of days ago. There really is no way to brighten an occasion like this, but there is always that heart felt love and peace of mind knowing that Aunt Carol will be continuing her Journey beyond this life in a far much better place than we can ever imagine. Tomorrow friends and family will be gathering for a dear friend of mine...Dewey who passed away few days ago as well. Saying Good bye is never easy and there is a mourning that always is part of the process. One thing I keep trying to remember is the time I was blessed to have with each and every person who has been a part of my Journey. So...in my stories and memories they will always live on everyday for the rest of my Life.
Now...to brighten the moment....tonight I will be performing with some awesome Music Peeps of mine at the Hotel Preston at 8pm. Me and the group "Blind Squirrel" will play some rockin original music. If you are in neighborhood stop by and join us. It would be great to see you.
Now on a personal note....I am grateful for each of you who are in my Life. My days are always brighter, full of life, and each of you are an inspiration for me as I wake up day to day to carry on and do the best I can, Daring to Dream, and carrying the Silver Lining Torch forward because of all the wonderful influences and motivation I receive and by knowing that Life is wonderful and full of opportunities beyond what the eye can see.
