Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in the Music City the temp is surprisingly a comfortable 60 degrees. So.... this is perfect Fall weather for Thanksgiving.
The fireplaces will be going, the kitchens will have the smell of homemade food being prepared for families, friends, and loved ones.
Yes...it's that time of year where everyone comes together to a share a meal and to give thanks for each of their blessings. I love this because it will be like Silver Lining overload. Now if we could somehow harness all this gratitude and use it daily...omg...the results would be awesome! Still...we need to be reminded daily because life does have a way of knocking the wind out of you from time to time and all perceptions of positivity can be a be a bit fuzzy. Hence the reminder of Silver Linings.
This morning I am of course enjoying my cup of Hazelnut coffee which I love and sitting here at my desk looking out the window. Thinking about the last few days and missing my girl. This Thanksgiving we are spending time separately with each of our families. I wish there were a way to be at both places at the same time, but unfortunately the distance and time between Holland and Nashville is literally night and day. So...with that being said...I take comfort in knowing that we both will be surrounded by our loved ones. That alone is a blessing!
Sometimes life gives us our own personal challenges, but with sheer determination to see beyond what seems like a bump in the road is just a small detour to something wonderful waiting to happen. There is always a light that is shining somewhere that will brighten the day or even enhance the moment. All we have to do is open our eyes and see what is right in front of us.
Peeps have an awesome Thanksgiving and enjoy every special moment you have where ever you find yourself today. Count your blessings and remember your Silver linings....until next time I will catch you on the flipside!
