Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in Nashville the temp is comfortably cool with a little bit overcast and some drizzle. All in all....it is a calm and peaceful morning as I sit here looking out my window. My Hazelnut coffee is tasting as delicious as ever and my mind is wondering all over the place as I try to piece together my thoughts and what I would like to write about. I suppose I will have to take a minute and focus on the here and now and what exactly I am feeling. Sounds easy right? Not really..lol....it takes a lot of work on my end to quiet down my brain.
First of all I woke this morning at 4am to go work out at my gym Planet Fitness and when I arrived they had windows blocked with construction plastic because they are remodeling and there wasn't a soul to be found in the parking lot. Well....since I was out I stopped by Walmart to get creamer for my coffee...I was dreading the store...when I arrived there were no lines and mostly employees. I thought to myself this was weird for the day after Thanksgiving...but I remembered most were shopping all through the night....hence there was no traffic at all on the streets. Lucky me...ran in and ran out with no issues what so ever. No complaints here.
Now that I am comfortably sitting here writing my thoughts and noticing that I will have to go to work soon...it hits me that over the past three days I have had many homecooked meals....ok...what's so great about that. I will tell you....since I live by myself and really don't cook meals like what I have had over the last few days....I so appreciate the time it took to cook them and how delicious each meal tasted. Afterwards it almost felt like my body was telling me...hey why don't you feed me like this all the time? My answer would be....well then you wouldn't appreciate the meal as much if it were all the time. There you go!!!!!
Peeps....hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving and enjoyed the moments and made memories to last a life time! Until next time....I will catch you on the flipside!
