Good Morning Peeps!
This morning here in the Music City all is calm and relaxing in my Haven. Me, Sir Todd and my hot & tasty Hazelnut coffee. The view outside my window is amazing as I watch the leaves fall off the trees and all the warm colors are blended together in such a warm and perfect way as the morning sun shines it's light on this new day.
Last night I had an awesome night out with my family as we ventured out about an hour from Nashville. We found ourselves in a town called Nunnelly and far out into the country was a store called "Pinewood General Store".
Let me tell you, this was a home away from home type feeling when walking through these humble doors. Everyone was so welcoming.
Just so happens that last night they had an open mic and they welcomed me to share the stage with them.
Which was awesome....because I had family in town from California who have never had the chance to hear me play.
I was excited about being around so many new faces and hearing new Peeps performing and having another opportunity to share my music with the family and everyone who was there.
Plus we had the treat of listening to the owners daughter Bella Lee Lola McCormick perform and she was amazing and only 13yrs old.
She is so talented and her voice was like hearing an old soul sing. She was amazing! Music, amazing food, incredible talent, and great company. Good Times at The Pinewood
Now the owner Mee has such an inspirational story of how she came to be where she is today and having had the opportunity to open a new store "Pinewood Mercantile" across from the "Pinewood General Store". Check them out on Facebook... Pinewood Store & Kitchen. Stop in...the food is delicious and all natural and the experience is almost like finding yourself in another time and place where simple is the norm but the impact after visiting is astronomical and memorable. You almost don't won't to leave....lol....in fact they had to kick us out in a very gentle and loving way because we didn't want to leave. Seriously...check them out. They are an hour away from Nashville, absolutely worth the trip.
Peeps today is going to be a great Saturday, enjoy every second of doing whatever it your doing. Don't forget that it's the simple things in Life have the biggest impact and can open many doors of possibilities beyond what the eye can see.
