Good Morning Peeps!

This early morning here in Nashville the temp is cold but in the morning night sky the Stars are shining bright. Yes..... it is Sunday but I am up early before the sunrise because I need to be at the church for choir practice before the service. Not to mention I need time to have my delicious hot cup of Hazelnut coffee and a moment to write my morning thoughts. Whatever they may be...hard telling what will end up being my focus because I have so much activity going on that I will have to focus in on what pops out the most to me.

Honestly the first thing that comes to my mind is that this week has been a very emotionally long and full week. Full of good times and sad times, but somehow in the midst of all this activity I have found an awakening of the heart, mind and soul. I have come to appreciate so many things and people even more than normal because of my experiences of loss this week. Still..... on the opposite side of the coin...... I also gained a lot by meeting new family members and being able to share precious moments with friends and family pretty much everyday this week. Plus..... I was able to share my music in different ways at different times with so many wonderful people. Although my experiences this week has been bitter sweet, I feel so much gratitude for every second and every moment.

Now....this morning I will end my week by going to my home church and singing with the choir. Oh...on Dec.10 is Charlies Christmas Party being held for 40 children from the Inglewood/East Nashville area. Now....also on Dec.16th..... I will be singing with the choir for the Christmas Program at 7:00pm and every Sunday Worship service until Jan 1st.......the final day when my home church will close their doors forever. Inglewood Methodist church has a very special place in my heart and always will for many reasons. So there you go....
