Good Morning Peeps!
Here in Nashville the weather feels a lot like Christmas. Especially with the lights on my tree shining it's colorful lights like a fireplace while I am sitting here drinking my Hazelnut coffee. Monday comes rolling around again way to soon as I sit here in my Haven reflecting on the past few wonderful days spent with my girl.
Lots of Christmas shopping was done, along with enjoying an awesome movie "Dr.Strange"at the Theater. Which was awesome! I highly recommend seeing it....especially if your into the Marvel Characters.
Then a special treat appeared in my yahoo mail early Sunday morning from Gaylord entertainment regarding the show "How The Grinch Stole Christmas Musical" and the tickets that I won on one of our local radio stations The Mix92.9. The date I could go was that evening. I was so excited to be able to take my girl to see this show along with a couple of Peeps of mine. What was really cool is that neither one of us had ever seen the show. So...that made it even more exciting. Plus I heard that one of my other music peeps Mia Rose who is not only a incredibly talented singer songwriter but a very talented actress and performs in a lot of theatrical shows and was playing the part of Mama Hoo.
Hoo would have known...laughing to myself as I try to make a Hoo joke!
Yeah...last night was truly a treat and the show was awesome. I have discovered that apparently I have a simple sense of humor as I would bust out laughing at different parts when nobody else was laughing. In that moment I found that even more amusing just from the sheer act of that moment. Yes...I also laughed at myself. Hey sometimes the simplest things can bring so much enjoyment...why hold back even when you think it might be silly. Life is to short and why not enjoy it!
Peeps, I hope everyone had an awesome weekend no matter what you were doing. Remember your Silver Linings as we kick off this new day...the simplest way to kick start a motivational thought is to find just one...no matter how simple or small it may seem. Big things come in little packages and can make all the difference in the world when it comes to finding your positive motivational thought that will be carried through out the day.
