Good Morning Peeps!
This Saturday morning here in Nashville the temp is freezing but the sun is out and the sky is blue. In hindsight because it is winter time...not a bad way to start the day. Trust me....it could always be worse.
So.... here I am with my Hazelnut coffee, sitting at my desk and looking out my window wondering what is in store for today. I'm sure once I start getting ready and walk out the door I will soon find out!
I woke up pretty early but honestly I am feeling very relaxed and decided to move at my own desired pace. All week I am under a schedule and I decided that it is OK to take a moment to break loose of the time clock and let everything flow and evolve naturally this morning. Taking in the quietness of my Haven while sipping on my hot cup of coffee. Meanwhile looking out my window at the winter birds flying around, the snow on the ground, clear blue sky, and the sun lighting the day. This is a moment of breathing in and taking advantage of this serene moment.
Don't get me wrong...I have things to do later on....such as playing tonight at 6:30pm at Opry Mills Mall with my awesome Music Peeps Kat Lee Jones and Sandy Moyer for TSAI's Songwriters Event. Possibly heading out earlier today around 1pm to Mozzerella's Pizzeria for Hit Song Casa's Writers Open Mic Saturday.
But, for now....this time is my down time to move at my own desired pace and to do what moves me. I think it's important to have down time....it helps to relax the body, refresh the mind, heart, and soul. Plus....taking a moment helps to inspire the creative mind, and offers a chance to appreciate the moments that are here and now.
Peeps enjoy your day and remember your here and now moments and never take them for granted. Because each have a special meaning if you keep your mind and heart open to receive. Why not start the day with a few Silver Linings that will help to kick start that Rockin Positive attitude that will help to carry you through the rest of the day.
