Good Morning Peeps!
It is a rainy morning here in Nashville and the temp is a comfortable 60 degrees. It was actually perfect weather for heading out to Planet Fitness to work out early this morning....yes....even with the rain. So....here I am on week 3 of returning back to the gym after the holidays and being sick. I am loving every second of this mission of getting back into shape. Each week I add something different as my body gets stronger. Whether it be in weight or adding a different workout for a different part of my body. Slowly incorporating each into my morning work out schedule. Well....then just keep moving forward and give it all I can.
In relationship to working out I was just thinking as I took a sip of my morning coffee...which by the way tastes so good! There are so many times when I may have missed the boat or goal on something I was trying to achieve, life has it's own interventions that throw me off track, and I simply have still moments where it seems nothing is happening or maybe not even going my way. Sometimes I feel like I failed! Still.....in those moments the one thing I try to remember to help encourage myself is to not give up. The key is to keep showing up. If there are changes that need to be made, change them, if there is a lesson to be learned, learn it, and most importantly remember that there is no limit on stops and starts. There is no such thing as failure as long as I don't quit. Most importantly I need to always remember that I am human and will make mistakes just like anyone else. That is a part of life. I know that I don't have all the answers, but I also know that everything that is within me tells me not to give up hope and keep moving foreward no matter what.
Peeps remember your Silver Linings and I will catch you on the flipside!
