Good Morning Peeps

Good Morning Peeps

This morning here in Nashville the temp is a bit cooler than it has been over the past few days but I just saw the most beautiful sunrise full of pink, orange, yellow, white and light blue colors that are blended together creating a welcoming site to my morning eyes. It has been a while since I have seen a sunrise because of all the rain and cloudy days we have had here in the Music City. You can bet I was taking it all in while enjoying my first cup of Hazelnut coffee.

Last night I performed at the Hotel Preston in a writers round and was surrounded by some of my awesome Music Peeps. Even though I was glad to be playing a few of my songs I was just thrilled to see and hear them perform as well. See...the cup of inspiration not only flows from my inner creative heart but also through the people I know... honestly these are the moments that leave me full of gratitude. Because I know that every step I have taken musically they have been there supporting me all the way. Not to mention when I had my surgery back in June they were there for me and their friendship helped me through a tough time. I never want to take them or anything for granted. So this really was my take away from last night.

Life is to short to get caught up on all the politics and craziness that surrounds us, because there is so much more positive and meaningful moments happening right before our eyes. It's great to be involved and to have an awareness of whats happening in the world, but remember that the most important thing happening is right in front of us and will have even more meaning and substance, not to mention an even bigger impact in our lives while building a stronger foundation to stand on and purpose or reason for all that we do in our day to day lives.

Peeps, I hope everyone has an awesome Wednesday and remember your Silver Linings. The Cup Of Life is always ready to happen and is always half full rather than half empty. It's all about perspective and perception.

Until next time I will catch you on the flipside
